Roll Call

Lance over on the west coast board set up a roll call kinda to introduce yourself, tell where you're from, and whatnot. I thought it would be a nice idea to also have one here, so here goes.

My name is Robert Guthrie, I'm from Orangeville, Ohio, and I am purchasing a 1984 Camaro Sport Coupe.

Robert

EDIT--- I think the regional boards will enable enthusiasts from similar geographic areas to hang out, organize gatherings, and offer general advice to one another. I would like to see about doing some sort of gathering every once in a while, and would like everyone to post his or her ideas, or if there is a cruise-in in your local area, post it!

Hi! I'm Yvonne from eastern Pennsylvania. I love first and third gens, and I work for the best place to see them! Known for providing local auto events list, helping with events (even though I belong to no club), banging knuckles, and finding parts. Worst crimes: debt collecting and being the partner of The Rearman...

Hey, Brian!

Hey, Brian! Check out our events list (which will be updated soon) on www.rearman.com/autoevents2002.htm . Maybe I'll see you somewhere. AACC should be updating the autocross details, and I would love to see you spank the members... hee hee I'm from the Allentown area, while Art is from Mertztown. (But then I think you knew that...)

Hey guys, my name is nick. I was just wondering where you guys thought that michigan fits into these regional forums. I would think midwest, but it seems to have gotten left out. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks nick

Had to sell the orignal Dumperbird but in exchange I got may hands on a kinda rare 84 L69 WS6 rear disk #'s matching T/A! (I think it's rare.. don't know the production numbers... anyone?) Also got my girlfriend to grab a 87 Formula (not a 350 but it's still a bird)

Nick,

First of all, welcome aboard! John Zofko (okfoz to us) has also posted here, and he is from michigan as well. I see no problems with anyone from michigan posting here on the northeast board, although I would consider both michigan and ohio to be midwest. but hey, let's all have fun!

Welcome aboard!

Robert

Brett Gutshall from Carlisle, PA. Got one of my dream cars last June at the age of 17 . Its a 1990 Formula 305 TPI 5 speed. Bought it with 61,000 miles and its just about to turn 67,000 now.

I think this board is a great idea. Anyone in here have a beater for sale? I need a daily driver.

Rick from Garfield. If you don't know where that town is, you aren't missing much. Just a thought, but aren't we in spring already? At least with todays weather around here.

Mike from Harwinton, Connecticut. 17 years old. Bought both of my cars as projects. Got the camaro for $200 with a blown engine, and the bird for $250 in need of paint, a timing chain, and mild body work. Soon I'll unveil pictures of the before and after of the bird.

Just saw it today, I usually never go past the Street Racing Board, and I think it's a nice addition. I live in Kensington CT and regularly cruise the Berlin Turnpike on Fridays and Saturdays in the Summer.

Rob from Cleveland...unofficial 3rdgen photographer at the shows I attend. No kidding, I went to some of the major shows last year, from Carlisle to Superfest to Fall Classic, and I was razzed for most of my photos were of all the 3rdgens that rolled in. If you went to some of these, chances are your car may be in the photo files. And of course, some of the local shows around cleveland are featured as well.
