I'm there =)
Oh it is that far ahead, I'll be there but not with my camaro =(
IT had a little accident over the weekend =( She was on up blocks outside. I did the montly start up to get keep the engine up and running, after about 5 minutes I notices smoke coming from the hood. I shut off the engine and opened the hood. I saw no flames but tehre was a **** load of smoke. I started walking to my house to get a bucket of what to make sure nothing would burst into flames. While walking back I saw flames under the car. At first I poured a 5 gallon bucket of water over the engine, the flames were from leafs aaround the Cat. The water did not put out the flames and while I was rushing to hook up the garden hose the passenger side grand effects and passenger side innfender are pretty well gone. Later I found that the I lost my shifter cable (It is an automatic) and wires leading to the tranny.
I was planning on putting a 6 speed in place of the auto any ways but I don't have the money rigt now.

sorry to hear that. i'm not showing off my car this year because it needs paint in some areas, badly in the rear can't tell from pics though, and then a rear ground effect and it has a decal on the driver side, but not on the passenger side so i guess it got side swiped. so if you're going, i'll probably be near the "bad bow tie" camaro. it'll be in the 60's modified(i think, well that's where he had it last year), it's a '73 porsche red first gen camaro.

I would go up there to watch but I think it would take alittle too long. I have never driven up there but I think it is about 3 hours at least. I am in the portland area.
I'll bring a camera and try to get some pics scanned for everyone.

Sounds good. Right now I am just using my grand prix. My camaro is out of action right now. SAving up money to get some goodies for it and the grand prix is cheaper in every way (gas, and insurrence)
I have no seen any street races in about 4 weeks though

hey passinu:
I am in Bath as well (as you may have noticed) off of High and Russell.
1992 Camaro RS convertible (back on the road tomorrow after I complete the new interior install).
1987 Firebird (daughter's project....but I supply all the work!)
There is another convertible down towards the end of Russell....a black Z-28 with no back window......1991 or 1992.

Hey Steve,
Good to see someone restoring a 3rd gen.
I've seen the black vert covered with the tarp quite often, as you know Bath is a small town and once you own a 3rd gen you notice all the other ones, lol. I work across from the southgate, you may have seen my Iroc there (bright red).

Hey Kevin
I haven't gone by the south gate recently since i quit working at the land level of BIW. Now I am in the aluminum shop and use the west gate.....but I walk by the black 'vert every day....I live up at the top of the hill.
If you see a white vert with a red leather interior and a 2 " cowl induction hood, the guy behind the wheel will be me!
Maybe we will run into each other some time, and I mean that figuratively......not literally!
