hey guys. I'm moving from southeast pa outside of philly and want a place inn nj and/or NYC area. I will be accepting a banking job in the fa;ll and want to move ASAP so I have time to get settled in the city and hang out a litle before I start my 80 hourwork weeks on the bottom rung of the corporate ladder. Do a search on the web, there are websites that can help you find apartments and roomates. My sister used one to find her partment and roommate in virginia.

BTW, if you decide to rent an apartment in NYC, shoot me an e-mail and let me know where. My brother is on NYPD, and can tell ya how safe the neighborhood is.

 

are you working in the city, or in N. Jersey? I will tell you this, do NOT under any circumstances work in Jersey, but live in NYC. You get royally *** raped triply on income taxes. Working in NYC and living in NJ and working in nyc and living in nyc are both reasonably even by tax purposes, but neither is particularly good.

in fact, if you can retain your pa address, like your parents house or something, do it. it will save your *** on taxes just say you're commuting.
