This is my cometment to making my car into my dream car. What do you guy think?

ƒ¯ What is the cost of doing all of this?


1. What I would like to see what happens is?
2. Would it be street legal?
3. Will my ride be conferrable?
4. Will it get the seal of approval from my family and friends?




„« What I would like is for my car to be vary comfortable and have a lot of hoarse power and torque, My friends were suggesting for me to put a TBI motor in my car and stroke it, which I don¡¦t mind having a fast ride, but I want a show car. How can I accomplish it with out taking years of saving money and get it to be fast like my brothers 03cobra (well someone can dream can¡¦t they?)? If I do put the TBI motor in my car and stroke it, I would like to use NOS on it, and use the half of its hoarse power shot, primly going to be around 150-200 somewhere around there.

„« How would I go about getting this (RS/SS) to run pass smog in California? What would be the cost of making this bad *** ride make it so I can do it?

„« I would love to have my inside of my car look better, I think that I would redo the carpet and get ride of the back sets and put some subs back there to help out with the stereo and speakers that I have in there now.

and 'm willing to spend about 15 grand, i know its like getting a new car but i dont care.

 

First thing is first
Do you have a 305(v8), or a 3.1 (v6)
5 speed manual or 4 speed auto

I have the 3.1 4 speed. My bro says that you can fit the TBI in there just fin and stroke it and i'm looking at 600+hp and about 7grand.

 

350 Short Block- $800
LT4 Hot cam kit- $570
T56 6 speed- $2000
AFR 190 Heads- $1200
SuperRam Plenum & Runners- $780
SuperRam Base- $400
SLP Headers- $500
Cat Back- $400

Total- $6650

This would put out some serious power. And you can always add a blower($3400) and nitrous($550).

I dont know who told you to stroke a TBI engine, but they dont have your best interests in mind. That would be the absolute worst combination for making 300+ horsepower. Tell that person they're full of it.

The combo posted by 89blackGTA is a good one. You will at the very least want TPI, but a much better solution would be to get an LT1 engine and transmission setup. You can have the heads ported, throw in a good cam, add some nitrous, and run low 12's or even high 11's, more than enough to smoke a stock 2003 Cobra.
