Morro Bay BBQ gathering.... details and pics within..
First off, I would like to thank Brian and his wife for allowing us to invade the beach home:hail: I think I speak for the entire group when I say that it was a great time. I also would like to thank Dwayne for putting the time into the BBQ, that as usual turned out great. I have a bit of video taken during our cruise, but need to figure out how to tranfer it to the net, actually, Zac, you need to upload some footage
I took three pictures, then my disk was full
I wish I had some at the house, since a few of the cars were there when we met up. To anyone that missed it, you REALLY missed it.
Thanks again to each and everyone of you that were there, My wife, son and I all had a great time, well, my wife did not enjoy my driving on the cruise much, but once she cooled off from that, we all had fun!
Please, anyone with pictures, post them here....

and 3... This is the last shot we got with the digital camera, I forgot to clear the disk before we left... Oh well. Those that were not with us, you can't tell in this pic, but I pushed my Yukon pretty hard on these back roads, surprised more than a few in the group
If my family was not with me, I probably would have tried a little harder and lost it....
Even being the odd man out driving my truck, I had a blast!!!!!!!!!

By the way if anyone saw or finds a extra cell phone mine was M.I.A. when I got home
Zac

Hey, what the heck was up with that stupid broad swerving into your lane while we were heading back on the 41? I was spooked, and I was a few cars back, I can only imagine what went though your head..... I am glad you were on the ball and swerved in time!

Oh man...
I forgot about that! I dunno. In fact, I didn't even realize it was a woman. But I just knew I was going to have to go all the way off the road.
As for what was going thru my mind -- Every time I'm in a sticky situation like that, I actually see $$$. I mean for real! I see them super-imposed over what's actually happening!! That's usually coupled with the nagging question: "How much is this gonna cost?"
Oh well, I'm glad she got her eyes back on the road! That could've gotten real interesting...

Yes, many thanks to Brian and his wife for the hospitality. Brian make sure and thank your parents for us. Great location! It was wonderful meeting all the new faces and seeing some of the old ones again(figure of speech). Dwayne put out some great tri tip, and there were some killer salads and, well, more than enough food for an army. GREAT looking cars. HIGH quality third gens on display. You people that missed it really missed out on seeing some great rides and having some wonderful food. Oh yea, the people were great to! Yes, yes, there was a red Tahoe there that was pretty good looking to. Rumor has it that its fast(for a truck!).

My dad is thinking about having a gathering at my house down in clovis. that is right next to fresno. we could do the same thing we did up there, have a bbq and cruise or whatever. if you guys are down with that let me know. it will probably be sometime in august so we could try and get a date that works for everyone. so you guys let me know and hopefully we can plan another one

If you click on your link and go to your site on cardomain, you'll see the small picks. When you "click to enlarge" you get a new window with the full size pic. At this point, right-click the full size pic window and select "properties" from the options. In the properties window, you'll see the actual url of the full size image which I posted here...

It was definitly fun!!!!!! And my brothers car is off the hook!!!! I will try and get pictures once I get a chance! The interior is in mint condition, it has subframe connectors, pan hard bar and a Eibcach lowering setup! It also has the Bose stereo system, JL Audio 10 with a MTX amp. Oh yeah and the stripes..... It is scratched pretty good on the passenger side but the body is straight. Not bad for $2000 bucks.
I have decided not to put a TPI setup on my car after a long talk with my dad. I plan to keep it the way it is and buy a 91 or 92 Z28 and go from their. It will be better in the long run because and can down the car for as long as I want. I will also keep my eyes open for a 91 or 92 Z that is already fixed up............
Thanks again Brian..........

OK, for those asking why I drove my truck and not my Camaro... here is the way it sets... I am going to get to work on it as soon as the other 91 Camaro is gone, I don't need to have 2 cars scattered about

No, I have sold that car already, but I am still waiting for a few more parts to show up before it leaves. 2 members are now looking for 91-92 Z28's hmmmm....
The blue car is not really for sale, but if the right offer comes along, you never know
