Well, yesterday I was in the 'maro with the T-Tops down, on the I5, near Santa Clarita, trying to get to my family, broken down on the freeway (before a semi truck or soemthing hit them) and I admit, I was hauling ***, and well, I turned a bend in the freeway, and saw a CHP sitting there and I hit the brakes HARD, the whole car, jumped down, and over, I hit the brakes so hard, and by the time I got up to him (still braking hard) his radar hit me at 94mph (Not many cars on the freeway at the time).

Anyway, I sit here now, typing to you all, with a speeding ticket for 94mph. He didn't care much for my excuse, but atleast he was nice. After he gave me the ticket, I told him he got me fair and square, and I was in the wrong, and I shook his hand, and we were on our way.

My first ticket ever Is that too fast for traffic school? Anyone have an idea what the fine will be?

PS. When he pulled me over he said, "Pushing that 6cyl pretty hard huh?" As the car is an RS, alot of people think they only came with 6cyls. I didn't feel like telling him its a create 305 with headwork, so I just said, "I guess so".

 

I got a ticket for 95 in a 70 and went to traffic school on it. The bail depends on the county. Mine was around $170. Good Luck!

 

I don't want to scare you but I thought that if you get a ticket for 25 or more mph over the speed limit it's reckless speeding and no traffic school.

My last ticket was for 90 in a 65 and I was hitting the speed limiter at 115. The CPH was going the other direction and testing one of their new Crown Vic Interseptor (it had a louvered hood).
he said he gave me a break so I could go to traffic school. Same fine $175 but school cost another $30. I did it in less then an hour while on lunch break.
