Crush or Not to Crush

I have been trying to sell my 82 pace car for the last couple months so far I have people say list it then I will make an offer on it. When I do list it for sale They rag me for it.

I dont have the money to Put in this car or the time.

So its coming down to the point of Either letting it sit out side & rot until a buyer comes around or to ship it down to a Crusher & have it crushed.

Why would you crush it? I cannot see a crusher paying you anywhere near what you are asking for it. If you offered it for as much as a crusher would give you I am sure you would see it in about 3 seconds.

have you tried ebay or maybe autotrader.com
the car doesn't look that bad to bad its in washington I'd make an offer
why don't you fix the brake so the car will be driveable you said you have the the parts cause if some one could drive it they may be inclinded to by it and drive it home opposed to having to trailer it

I dont have the time to fix it up. Heck I have a 87 Iroc z that needs to go to the shop to get the headers put on it. Its been sitting waiting for the headers for the last 2months.

If I do anymore work on the car the price goes up.

Dont crush it! I dont know how you would be able to go through crushing it. That car is a collectors item and will be worth something some day. I would rather see it sit then get crushed.

Getting it crushed around here is no big deal Several of the junk yards have their own crushers, It never fails when an out of state driver comes here to live they run through lights, dont stop fully at a stop sign. So the junk yards are always filled with cars.

As for it being a Colectors Item I know Heck only 1590 of the cars got the CFI Disc brake combo.. But no one thinks its good enough for them.

Heck if it was one of the 2 made with a 350 that year even with the shape its in it would still be $15,000. But its not.

Na The Org buyer is hopefully coming through with the cash in 2 weeks but if I dont hear from him all I have to do is make one phone call & its gone for $2k. So its not being crushed. Its going to be saved.
