Well since my husband owns a Corvette & they have their own wave while passing each other on the street. I was wondering why cant we have a small wave for the Camaro (or heck just call it the Fbody wave). Just a fast little peace sign (or what ever you seem fit) as you see another Camaro go by, with a fast friendly smile. (now boys keep it nice no one finger wave either )

I see alot of Camaros out in the area I live at & I always give a short friendly wave (of course I normally get the one finger wave back but who cares ).

So how about it anybody out there up to the challenge?

usually when I see another Camaro or Firebird thats clean or looks moded I will give them a nod, somtimes a rev that sucks about people giving you the bird. I wonder why they do that. Do you have a big ford sticker on your back window?

 

I'm no where near you guys but hey what the heck I remember when i had a Jeep for a summer every Jeep driver waved at you. I have noticed a few Camaro/TA guys wave but most don't so I am going to start a little wave for all I see now. I will post on my regional board about this too. After all there are fewer Camaro's left everyday that passes now so

 

Unfortunately a large percentage of people who own thirdgens don't really care about the car, it is only something to romp on and trash. Probably someday this will change when they get rarer and scarcer. I've noticed over the past decade that the number of vette owners who wave is way down too, especially with the C4 and C5 owners.

Yes I do see alot of Ghetto 3rd gens around here (not many show cars, let alone race cars like mine in this area)

I have to agree. Not very many nice looking thirdgen's. But I will wave to any good looking F-body.

Its not the same when I'm in my Vette though....

 

Hardly ever see a bagged out third gen around here anymore... in fact you hardly see a third gen ever. We have a dreadful rust epidemic in these parts and we are searching for a cure you can donate to our non profit charity at www... Lol seriously most of the turd cars are toast now and if you see a third gen on the road its usually pretty nice. If I do see a trashed out one I don't think I would wave first but if the guy decided to wave to me I would wave back
