Travis, I tried calling you back today and your phone keeps going into voice mail. Anyway, the rotors came in around 5pm and there was no way I had time to pick them up today. Call me tonight, don't worry I am up late, or call me in the morning, I am up by 8am, and we can work something out.

Hey fellas,
What kind of prices can you get on some slotted only, not drilled rotors, front and rear?
Brands?
Must be zinc or equivalent plated.
Just curious if it's worth it to paint my rusted cheap ones
or if nice performance ones can be had for a good price.
They really show now because of the rims.
Thanks!

Sorry Del, I can't get any slotted or drilled rotors. Can only get factory stuff, don't know why they call one standard and one performance though, I did ask the dealer the difference and he confirmed the performance ones are not slotted or drilled, just higher quality metal, etc.

well from kragen experience, we have two sets of rotors that are the cheapos and the performance. neither are drilled or slotted but its how they are casted. and the 'performance' ones are balanced and cross hatched. im sure something like that holds true to the factory ones as well.

Del, you should check out a company called SSBC (Stainless Steel Brakes Corporation). My brother has their slotted rotors for his 80's chevy truck and loves them, and my other brother is going to be getting some for his 4th gen camaro. The sell a kit for thirdgens that will upgrade any non 1LE car to a 1LE package for $1395, that's what I will be getting soon I hope. Anyway, they also make all upgrade parts for our cars, check them out on their internet site.

Cool, thanks for the link, checked out the page.
Really nice brakes, 1LE upgrade is not in my future though.
Not enough power to justify that much $.
I do like the caliper kits they sell though and they have front slotted rotors that I'll look into.
