Drive to LA
Here's what I experienced:
I'm sure there are lots of things to see and do in LA but it's really too crowded for my tastes. Kind of ironic coming from someone who lives on the peninsula, eh?
- The boring expanse that is Interstate 5 in the Central Valley: Great for flat out speed tests (pinned speedometer once).
- Hill climbs entering LA on I-5, CA 152
- CHP. Good old "Valentine One" radar detector. Priceless.
- LA Traffic: Truely, THE SUCK. Cod-awful.
- Downtown LA parking: Not good.
- I think I killed over 500 thousand bugs with my windscreen and front end.

yep, I figured out that same thing. In our cars having the a/c on is better than having the heat on. The a/c on will run the fan constantly, no matter what temp your coolant's at.
