I heard what you want to do is run it up to like 30MPH and let off and just let the motor spin down, do that a lot.
Then go to 40MPH 50, 60 etc. increasing slowly as you get the mileage up.

i try to avoid the highway when breaking in a car, and if it is run on the highway try to vary the speed between 40-65, depending on tranny.
Just save up some money for a couple tanks of gas hehe. What's your mileage like? probably as bad as my suburban.
