I'll be lucky to be in the top 5 once these other guys get racing.
Between Jesse's race car and guys using power-adders, they're really in another class and no way I can keep up.
I should be race ready in the next couple weeks though, how about you?

A week ago my good friend was coming home from a party and was going through some whindy roads and a deer came out on the road and he steered away to avoid the deer and hit a tree about 40 mph in his 05 f-150. luckly he walked off with some scrapes and bruises but, the cops came by and took a breathelizer test and he was .16 bac and was arrested and stayed over night in jail. not only he lost his license, but he also had lost his paramedic job for amr. luckly he was in a big f-150 truck, if he was driving my car or any f-body he would've ripped the car in half and he would've been dead. 2 years prior to this incident, both of my friends died from drinking and driving (both 21 yrs old) when their car hit a tree. Think before u do something stupid or u wont have another chance to learn

Could have been worse.
On another note, I saw the '74 Nova today. Put a downpayment on it, bringing it home next week. This **** is gonna haul.

woohoo, top 3.
took out an LS1, almost 2 of them, and an LT1.
i think times on spray should be on a seperate list.
sounds like several folks might be enlisting in that route too.
what do you think?
woah, totally missed the baby thing.
congrats Kyle! i think? haha.

Welcome to the boards John, glad to have another thirdgener, the more the better.
Congrats Kyle on the kid, will be hard but I am sure things will work out just fine for you in the end. I still need to run my gto at the track, if of course I can ever get a wed. off.
Nice times guys, wish I had something to post, soon I hope. Looks like I was right about Del being a very close competitor for me. I am already going to have to do something to the goat to keep up with you guys, looks like the supercharger may have to come sooner then I thought.

Glad you made it over Jonathan.
Check out some of the other threads, like the Tahoe meet.
As you can see they are pretty lively here.
Looks like you earned a spot on the list above the 305 TPI guys.

GMHTP got 500.2 hp at 6,400 rpm and 449.8 lb-ft at 5,000 rpm with that cam

Lol, he probably still would Travis. Oh well though. Anyway, ya I forgot about that Terrell, thanks for posting the info, I am saving it. I think I would rather go that route then a supercharger. I have always been a fan of just raw engine power and not power adders. 500 hp and 450tq would be so freaking sick in my car.

I would 'cause 05- up have that gayass, tacked on, after thought, of a hood. I don't like the color he pick or the optional rims but other than that I think GTO's are really nice cars. maybe one of the best daily drivable cars GM has ever made. powerful, handles very well, very roomy, and comfy.

I can't believe I'm in last place, oh well, I want to get this thing looking presentable too.I think I'm going to focus on weather stripping, trim, paint, etc.
