Del and Eric both have l98's,Del has a few mods(intake, exhaust)and I think a few others but not sure.Eric has a bunch of stuff thrown into his but it has changed so much that I've lost count.Robby has an lb9 with headers and,I think that might be it other than tune up stuff,I could be wrong though.

ya steve i gained .4 and almost 2 1/2 mph with the headers. I have a muffler but that doesn't do much, other than that just a little airbox mod and filters/tune up stuff/few suspension pieces. I only had 2 runs to go by, so I know with more agressive launching I could've picked up another .1 or so. I need to think about Terrell's 355 sitting collecting dust, that would sure as hell get me out of the 15's. Otherwise i'd have to tear down the 305 to do that anyway haha.

Eric, how in the heck does a trickflow headed, hot cammed, stealth rammed, full exhuast, 350 run a 14.7?!

oh and travis, that's 15.4 @ 88.4 mph.

Hahahahaha

Yeah,I'm hoping to hit atleast a low 15 with the mods in my sig but that may be wishful thinking.I've been tuning it up and messing with some things so it may happen. The headers should push me to 14's for sure.I just bought my new tires today.265/35/18 rear - 255/35/18 front. The tires that are on it just like to spin.I left a 100 ft black mark down the street from my house, even when I let off it was spinning.I have a guy buying the wheels that came on the car when I get back from florida so I think I may buy a torque converter and a shift kit. That should help a bit too.

255/35/18 thats what a 25.0" tire, why didn't you go with a 275/35/18

I went 255 in the front because it rubs just a tad (can't tell inside) when the tire is turned all the way.I think these are 25.2 and the rears are 25.6.I wanted the fronts a tad smaller then the rear.Since the car's lowered,a new 265 would rub quite a bit more.

That's pretty sad that i was still faster than you Eric.
I even gave you the benefit of the doubt of high 13's!
No amount of driver error can cause that with those mods.
There's definitely something out of whack in your setup.
What mph did you run on your 14.7 & 14.3?

My mph's were all consistent 95's, so according to my calcs, the power is just not there for those 13.9's.
Best it is capable of is a 14.1/0 with that.
http://www.corral.net/tech/brakehp.html
I've gotten 96's and a 97 once, but that was spinning at the launch.
No luck of a factory freak for me, I need all the help I can get to make this baby move faster.

Think these will help?

Haha, it was really clearing out lately, but just started filling up again with plans for the spring.
Trying to set the priorities and do some cleaning.
Blower is gone now and thanks to Travis for buyin' a set of front rotors, still have a rear for sale.
If I get around to changing my rear KYB shocks, I'll have those for sale too.
Bunch of little stuff otherwise, couple boxes of old Supra parts.

Eric, I think its either driver error ( you suck horribly with a manual tranny) or something is seriously wrong with that engine.

A tune is out of the question for your sloppy times as an excuse.

that night i ran 13.1 with my heads cam intake package, i was unfortunately running my bone stock ecm and i still did over a second better then you.

do yourself a favor and pay someone else to do your engine and turbo's.

I'd hate to see a 14second twin turbo iroc.

"What's the difference between a 400 rwhp supra and a 900 rwhp supra?"

"Nothing, they both run 12.5s."

Haha, you're a funny guy Mike.
I will be dissapointed in most of those guys if they aren't spanking me in a couple months.
They are all able to tune their rides.
My mild setup won't compare to their aftermarket intakes and lopey cams.
I'll be just fine for now if I can get mine to run deep into the 13's and be a threat on the street.

There's always somebody out there who will get ya.
You will just be in a diff. class and won't waste your time on Hondas once you reach a certain level of speed.
I don't want to be so fast that nobody will race me.
Shiet, I can hang with "most" cars (on the street) as it is right now thanks to Mr. TPI and some common sense.
I can only imagine how fun it will be to step it up though.

(Del, I swear if you do not offer that car to me first when you sell it I will kill you)
don't hold your breath man, haha, no plans for that.
i got a few compliments at the track yesterday, even though she wasn't that quick.

Hey if it takes $80k+ cars to be my competition, thats nice and all, and just means I need to take it one step farther.

I think I take this hobby more seriously then some of ya.

haha Travis, I don't doubt that you do.
If you continue on where you left off @ 13.1 and take off another .5-1 with this swap, I'm sure there won't be many cars on the street that can keep up. Not sure if it will be that easy though.
I mean seriously, just because a guy has a ZO6, doesn't mean he can drive worth a dang.
I fully expect to be hangin' with a lot of "nice" (expensive) cars myself.

Yeah I missed that Viper guy.
Seen plenty of 400hp+ cars running 13's and worse.
I'm not impressed with big spenders, who think they 0wn all with their shiny new car.
I've hung with 'vettes/nsx's/3000gt's etc. (on the street of course) as far as pricey, overrated cars go.
I'm sure if we went past 75 they would smoke me, but that's the fun of it I guess.
Show them the unexpected, that's what I'm in it for.

It's always fun to surprize people on the street.I can't wait for my 350,it'll just be a 13 sec. motor but I drive winding mountain roads everyday so a great handling car is 1st priority. It has a lot of life left in it so I may as well use it up.This motor is going in my 4runner in a few years.I would love to take out vettes and such though.

If it weren't $30+ to run I'd bring my Supra to go race with ya Steve.
I finally got my 3" downpipe on and a full 3" Magnaflow exhaust too.
The turbo spools a lot quicker now and sings sweetly too.
Not incredibly fast, but worth taking on a Wed. night to find out if it's a high 14 or a high 15, haha.

No need, just felt like getting the adjustables.Next will be sfc's.

Oh,harjeet,The vent from the gas tank was clogged pretty bad so I took it off and cleaned it and blew it out and now it's fine.
