im happy to report its finally done!!!
well the process going from highly modifed to stock was pretty straight forward didnt run into any real major problems or complications, finally runs and runs good and NO IT DOESNT LEAK lol
i had a lifter tap when first started up and a BRAND NEW kragen belt snapped and broke part of the connector off the maf... oh well submitted a thing through kragen to get reimbursed for that....
readjusted the valves they probably lost pressure in the time it took me to tear down that motor to when i adjusted the lash this time. well readjusted lash after it warmed up and its good THANKS TERRELL for crankin the motor for me
and del if it wasnt for your motor swap i would have to buy alot of stock parts
i only found like 5 rocker arms, 15 push rods, and stuff like that.. couldnt find stock timing cover i need to clean my garage

i let my lifters soak completely in oil for about 8 hours before i plopped mine in, but when i pay real money for that kind of thing, no chances.
i forgot to ask, what brand belt was it the old dayco or the new goodyear?
eitherway i bet you bought the cheapo one they offer anyways :P

its dayco...just sat in my garage for like a year...
Last time I checked the plan was to get the car out of his garage as soon as possible, I don't know why he is thinking he should keep it that long that makes no sense. If he doesn't finish it soon and sell it to me then I'm not buying it that's retarded. It should be sold asap not a few months from now.

most are auto/LB9's and just about all the 5-speeds are carb or TBI. I still say swap in a 350/T5 into your Z28

imo thats ridiculous if you're trying to sell it.
Terrel, that's alot of darn work to swap in a T5 and 350 into my Z28, and personally don't think I could do it. Even still I wouldn't be happy with the color of the car, so I just can't justify doing all that work. Eric has exactly what I want lol.

Eric... you plan on picking up this GTA still, or no? I need to get my place cleaned up and put a little extra cash together at the same time, then I'll put a new clutch in my 91....
