Travis has what i like to call, keyboard courage, haha.
Tony is right though, expectations tend to fall short if you don't stay realistic.

Mike, most of the extremely low mile TTA's go for close to 30.
They will be even greater collectibles soon.
Just in the last 5 years they've jumped 5-10K in price.

That's a pretty sweet convertible Terrell.
If I saw a gal drivin' that I'd be in love.
9K is too much though.

hah, well said.

Ask for this Wed. off Travis! Show us the right.
I think I'm going to head to the track again, mid 80's.

I'd take out a loan on an IROC-Z LONG BEFORE I get an ugly *** '74 Nova, you can't knock the man for having good credit, and his IROC.

I for one know Trav will be out on the track soon, we all know that is inevitable.

Elle, they're giving away streetbikes on CL, my GSXR will be on the way real soon like

Big words from someone who's NEVER been down the quarter mile. Maybe you should walk before you talk. At least Travis has ran the 1320.

I was speculating, not talking like I had proof. There's a big difference. If you had any real drag strip experience (which you obviously don't) you'd be able to spot potential in trap speeds and 60 foots as well.

I KNOW my car isn't going to do that at this moment (hell technically it's still a 14 sec car), but there's potential. It's all fine if travis wants to claim he has the potential to do it (imo he does) but he has no proof and was talking like it's already an 11 second car. When he has the slips, he can talk all he wants.

and that's great if you don't like my nova, I do.

Edit:
And I didn't know he took a loan simply to gain credit - nothing wrong with that. Excellent way to build credit. But if you take a loan on an 80s car because you don't have the money - you're an idiot.

I have 1320 experience, like that matters.

You could just as easily say that TraviZ was speculating as well, at least he would race all comers, unlike yourself.

And at least mommy and daddy didn't buy his cars.

mommy and daddy didn't buy mine either They were nice enough to loan me a couple bucks on the T/A but it was paid back within two weeks. If I had waited I could have bought it myself but I just wanted it then. The '97 I bought outright in cash. Same with my old '85 and my '88, and now my '74.

And who have I refused to race? No one that I remember. If anyone wants to race just meet me at sacramento raceway where there are no excuses and the timeslip proves all.

racing at the track is cool for fairness, only if u both get the same light, and not blaming reaction time for it.

not blame reaction time? reaction time for heads up race is gay with out it. Might as well get rid of ET's and just use trap speed to say whos the winner

Yeah that's why you have to race each other on the practice runs or in lane 1 and 2 during the brackets so you both get the same light. Heads up at the track is the way to do it.

comming from someone who always is going to run 12's 11's 10's with "bolt ons" this and that youve never been faster than like a 13.9 i say you quit talkin and "run" that slow p motor

ive been down track even ran a 14.3 with all those mods my mistake oh well not gonna whine about what it "could" have done

tony get out of tgo you dont even own a thirdgen , dont come back till you do or stay and quit talkin all that smack

traviz has built his credit by taking a personal loan with the iroc, as i did with my iroc in a different way i bought my heads and cam with the personal loan. and consolidated debt.

ya and vin never gave his car a time he just says "the power satisifies me" "it will run what it will run"
he doesnt say if i had traction i could get this time, if i get gears and headers ill get this...

everyone talks smack here i say everyone needs to quit talkin down to everyone here, lets keep it clean and friendly is all im trying to say here appreciate the fact that we are all here because we love cars and we love thirdgens.

and sad to see you go ellen, save your money dont get a car loan at this time i say buy a third gen and have some slight mods and keep the camary as a daily driver better yet sell the pos forigen car and buy an american 4 banger for a dialy driver
