Didn't have the money for the trip.
I have more money into the seat covers than your ruck is worth so I wouldn't brag too much. I will bring it one of these days and we'll see how "crappy" my import is. Just cause it's a 350 doesn't mean it's the holy grail buddy. Besides, you would have to make it the full 1/4 without breaking down.

I ran a 13.4 with the 42's So that is not the biggest issue at hand. I just need to get this speed density dialed in somehow.

That's a nice car you picked up there kool, especially the interior.
Just a few things needed to bring it back up to par.
Some nice paint too of course.
What did he let it go for? 4?

I stopped by the shop and dude said you didn't work there anymore.
The quote I got for my Supra was decent, no major body work is needed, just a couple tiny dings and installing a front lip for under $500.

yeah i stopped working ther because football season has started along with school and there was no time EVER for me to work there, and i kinda got bored with it so i just left i guess once school actually started. i am going to get the paint done real cheap at that miracle and you can see it when it gets done.

and it cost me 3400. in my opinion a pretty good deal considering if i needed to i could sell it for alot more, but i love it so wont happen unless needed.

3400 is a great deal with 66K miles.
Paint/wing plus a few odds and ends and you could flip it for 5K+.
Any mods or bone stock?
I'd definitely like to check it out.

back at you, i want to see your car too!

i am probably going to use my wing off my current bird and use gromets to plug the holes but dont know yet.

Brian told me it had a shift kit and a flowmaster cat back, but it doesn't sound like it to me, but i will need someone else who know turdgens a little better to see. other than a different deck and speakers along with a blue gauge lights it should be stock.

Sounds like you guys had awesome times, too bad the cars ran like crap, was hoping to see some better times, oh well, next time.

It's all good Travis, going to take some time with that speed density, it will pay off in the end for sure. Just keep working with it and you will get it right, not going to happen over night though.

Yeah I want to get down there and hangout soon. I haven't even driven the trans am in a week and a half I'm still trying to get the cash for new axle shafts. The last thing I want is for one to snap on these mountain roads.

What kind of axle shafts do you need? I've got a set of 28 spline axles in good shape I can set you up with if those would be of any use to you.

Well I bought Terrells old rearend and since it was from his 86 it has 26 spline shafts. Otherwise I need another carrier too.

Oh ok. Well I sold all of my 28 spline carriers so I can't help you there. I see pre-88 3rdgens in the junkyard all the time, I'm sure you could find a pair at pick n pull. Also, I assume you have PBR brakes... you can use 93+ rotors and get away with using drum axles rather than trying to find ones from a disc brake equipped car. Unless you are using the brakes from the '86, in which case I don't know.. those suck anyway.

Yeah it still has the old brake setup, I couldn't afford the pbr's at the time. It's on my winter to do list. I need either another full disc rear or new shafts. I should be able to pick up the Mosers in Sept.
