I plan to be there that night, to race.

Eric - I think you might be lucky to get 4K on eBay.
Dropped off the quote you asked for the Cressida HG kit to Bennie, $128.75 + s/h.

What's the finders fee?
Not like they're hard to find.
Here's a couple nice hardtops.

eesh.

How many miles does yours have now?

So basically you're looking for the car you have now w/out t-tops, but want to pay more for it, with potentially more miles and potentially slower stock that your factory freak now?

What about Ryan's?
Doesn't it meet all the criteria?
I bet he'd let it go for 5K if you had the $ in front of him.
Still isn't the G92/N10 car you have now, but it's much cleaner and not molested.

Did anyone else notice Elle's tricky title to get a lot of views in that thread?

People should be more realistic on their prices and realize if you're going to get rid of it sooner or later, do it now if you have an interested buyer!
I like to see hardcore 3rd gen pride.
None of this on the fence, fair weather 3rd gen fan shiet, love it or leave it folks!

Man, this heats getting to me.
Let's race!

well he thinks its worth 6 grand not a penny less, i am really suprised how well my car cleaned up after a good detail....

im not very hard core on the g92 but it would be nice to have....for collector purposes lol i see these iroc being at 1st gen prices in the next 10 years, look at the 2nd gens no one wants them they are worthless, and you can pick up an iroc for the same price as a crap lt1 and even ls1's are becomming worthless

but im all for goin to the track for support or for some racing

2nd gens are going up in value.
3rd gens wont be there for a long time.
Too many of them were made, only the nice ones will prosper.

p.s. - no need to quote all my text bud, waste of space!

well he thinks its worth 6 grand not a penny less
Well I think mine is worth 10K and not a penny less then.
Doesn't mean anybody will ever offer it.
Back to my realistic point.

Yes I personally would only want a 70-71, but a lot of people like the Bandit editions T/A's and 72-73 Camaros/Firebirds, SuperDutys, etc.
Definitely worth a lot more than most 3rd gens if in nice condition.

I think I am gonna try to make it over there with the iroc, should have the sd swap done, but no fuel pump or gears still. Even if the sd is done though that should give me lots of more room to play with.

wooo boy.
Been super busy last couple weeks.
Finally moved into my house this past week/end.
My apologies on the lag returning pm's and msgs.

I'm still down for 8/26.
Picked up a few parts this last month I'm hoping to get on.
New Bilstein rear shocks (selling KYB's), BMR STB and 2 door hinge repair kits.
Also a new front lip for the Supra, might paint that soon too, we'll see.

$20 for the pair.
KYB gas adjust shocks.
Work great, very stiff on the rear.
Not used more than 10K miles.

You'll love the Bilsteins after those KYB's Del. I couldn't believe how much more responsive and planted the rear felt when I put'em on. Now for the fronts.

I sure hope so.
The KYB's were much better than stock, but I'm ready to move up.
I'm hoping the ride comfort is increased as well.
The whole Bilstein set was too pricey for me right now.
Plus I know I can change the rears myself in minimal time.

The Supra needs 2 new shocks too, and if I want to keep the Electronic Suspension that it has now, I need to buy some expensive Tokico's, eesh.

Hey Del I'll take the shocks as well, I been curious how they ride, Since my stockers are finished off, It's a fair time to give them a shot. Throw that on my tab along with the rotors.

^ What he said.
Back in the day those Bilsteins must've been nice, now they must be beat!
My 'birds WS6 had MacPherson struts/shocks I believe.
Good at the time, but beat after 16+ years.
The KYB's were a big diff in stiff.
Can't wait to compare the Bilsteins.

You got it Travis.
2 rotors
2 shocks
$40.

When you press down on the rear of your IROC, does it go up and down easily or is it stiff?
I'd be surprised if it wasn't pretty bouncy.
Who knows though, Bilsteins are expensive for a reason.

I've done the shock test a coupe times, doesn't bounce after you let go comes up and stays. Im starting to think my car actually had 48,??? miles when I bought it always felt alot tighter then the other thirdgens I've been in

Interesting. How many miles are on the odom?
Well I didn't mean literally the car bounces after you press down once, I mean when you press down on it mulitple times how much it actually moves up and down.
Wish I could do the struts too.
I think my springs are what give the bumpier ride more than anything though.

Mine moves down very little and comes back once and stays. It is stiff when trying it by hand and is minimal squat when hitting it off the line.

as of right now it has 73,879.5 miles, but its an 86 so theres only 5 digits. so when it hits 100,000 miles it'll read 00,000 miles.

I'm still planning on going! The only thing changed on the car is it has C5 wheels on it instead of 10 spokes.
