Quote: Looks very clean! When did GM start putting the extra digit in the odometer? Just curious, 'cuase my '88 IROC only shows 5 digits plus the .10th. Guess when I do my motor/trans swap I'll look into a newer style gauge to show the 100k marker.
1990 and up with the redesign dash and gauges.

AWESOME NEWS...
So I got the decision back from the BBB today...and it was decided in my favor, ha ha stupid GM, lol. The car will be bought back, all my down payment refunded and a portion of my monthly payments will be given back as well, WOOT! GM will be contacting me next week to arrange a time and place for me to give the car back, at that point they will have a check for me too.

So now it's time to get very serious about getting another car, thirdgen that is. I still want the black 92, I will be checking it out next week sometime I hope and hopefully will have it in time for the 15th gtg at Bennie's shop for you all to check out. I will keep you all updated.

Thanks Steve, I am sure I will no matter what car I get.

Terrell, it's possible. Not too much though, they get to deduct miles and abnormal wear and tear off my monthly payments refund, lol. I will see what I can do, my phone takes good video, I will have Travis take some footage when I am up at work next to him sometime next week before I turn it in. Then he can post it up for you guys to check out.

Ok...so I am not back...
Well guys, some sad news for you. Last Friday I finally took back the GTO and all of that is taken care of for good now, WOOT! Now for the bad, I didn't buy and have no plans to buy a thirdgen anytime soon. I bought a new 07 Hyundai Sonata, if it helps at all at least it's the Limited V6 model, top of the line, all options, lol. Honestly, I really love it and it has been the most satisfying car buying experience I have ever had. By far the best car I have bought to date, my favorite. It's just what I need right now in my life. A lot of things are changing and going to change even more with me, new job, etc. This will help me regroup and get my life more where I want it to be, and faster. I have my whole life for a thirdgen. Oh, by the way I leased this car like I do most my new cars and it's only for 2.5 years. So I very well could buy a thirdgen in 2.5 years, you never know. Plus I really want to wait for the new Camaro and have the freedom to buy it or something else in the near future, this will help me with that.

Again, I am going nowhere. I still love thirdgens and all you guys, especially my bish, lol. I hope to still see you all at meets, I will have to ride with Travis though to keep up, lol.

Whatever decision you make bro, I'm sure it will be the best for you man, and we all know you have thirdgen pride even if you might "so-not-a" be very fast

Hyundai Motor America - about hyundai, overview

"We’ve invested more than $1 billion in North America to create a Hyundai like you've never seen before. The all-new Hyundai Sonata and Santa Fe are being built in our first U.S. assembly plant. Thousands of jobs have been added across the United States, with facilities in places like California, Alabama and Michigan"

Can't get more american then that.

I would but i got myself out of debt by paying the car off. I don't want to be back into debt. The ws6 stays. but damn under the hood of the gto the engine has so much room to mess around with it. and the ride is soo much smoother.

Thanks for the support guys. I know it's kinda hard to believe I went from a 400hp GTO to a 235hp Sonata, lol. But it's really what I want and need right now in my life, and again, it's only for 2.5 years. By the way, I have a new job, and it's only 5 miles one way from my house, so 10 miles a day to and from work. So as you can see Eric I won't have any problems going over my miles in the lease.

Thanks Travis for showing the American side of Hyundai, lol. Really has been a awesome car so far, especially for what it is and costs. So Eric try not to diss on it until you actually drive one. Remember, most GM vehicles are made in Canada & Mexico, and trust me from owning each brand Hyundai is the best so far, best bang for your buck, most solid, no rattles, awesome ride, more power, list goes on.............
