I need a tire hook up!
Hey fellas, do any of you have a good hookup on tires? I need 2 Falken FK451's in a 285/35/18. I know they're discontinued but I am trying to find them somewhere. The FK 452 will work too but they're more expensive. I might also do a set of 4 tires (doesn't matter what brand) but I will need 2 - 245/40/18 front and 2 - 285/35/18 rear. I don't want to spend another $1,000 on tires so the cheaper the better right now. Thanks guys.

Yeah I was looking at those and that's a possibility. I just wanted to see if I could find something a little cheaper. Plus they're out of stock on the 245/40's.

It's going to be tough finding something cheaper in those sizes. Let me know if you do find something because Nitto 555's are fairly expensive, the cheapest I've found is tires.com for about $230 a pop. I wonder how traction is on those Sumitomo's, I mean, I know they're just street tires so they will be designed to wear slower and won't be the best with a lot of power on tap. I am probably going to run slicks at the track so I don't really want to run an expensive DR that I'll be wearing out every 3k miles either.

Yeah the fk452's I would be getting are areound 245 each so I want something cheaper. The ones on tire rack I would get but I would have to figure out a different size for the front.

I don't know if this is true but I heard American tires matches or can beat tirerack.com prices. may be worth a shot

What is American Tire? I have never heard of them. I will be needing some new rubber soon. I still have to figure what 18" wheels to get.

Well the FK452's are 193 there. I really only need the 2 rears as the 265's will just be moved to the front.

have you thought about a 275/40/18 more common size then the 285/35 and is pretty much the same height 26"
