91, 92 ... and now a 93
What up guys - been a while. So I found what I thought to be a good deal for a 93 TA down in San Diego and ... bought it
Its red with gray leather interior, LT1, 6-speed. Body in perfect shape. Red paint pretty damn good except for some scratches.... but great for being 14 years old. Has catback w/ magnaflow muffler. Stock exhaust tips. K&N fenderwell intake kit.
Motor has 205K miles, but was rebuilt `~ 20K ago along with the clutch. I'll post some pics later and show er off
So who's goin to teach me how to launch with a 6 speed
Feels good to have a car that passes smog!!
So I'm goin to get the windows tinted, throw some 17 ws6 rims with 275's in back, buy some headers, throw my stereo stystem in it (with an alarm this time!), and fix some little odds and ends. That's the first plan of attack
Anyways, I'm going to be selling the White 92 GTA. Not sure if I'll be parting it out or selling it whole... we all know it isn't passing smog. Any of you kids out there interested? Dunno what I can realistically get for that car... so much blood, sweat, tears and money have gone into it. I have all the nitty gritty details if anybody is interested.

Selling the GTA? You want to do that thing we talked about with the wheels?
Can't wait to see the pics of the new ride. Heck, I could just drive down... I'm off all week.

There are thirdgen enthusiasts, then there are the guys that own them cuz they have to. did you buy that lt1 for a daily driver beater? thats all theyre good for. hope you keep your money in the thirdgens, but dont sound like it.

And by the way, I've never owned a third gen cuz I had to. I own 2 because I like them. There's some point where a car just isn't worth it anymore and you dont have a 10 car garage.

Ya, we can do that. Seen a front charcoal grey gta wheel out there?

Good luck selling that beater kid, and enjoy the "new" ride.
I edited most of the junk, let's go ahead and not have me do that again. Thanks.

Re: 91, 92 ... and now a 93
It's still up on Vinny's ramps. Engine has been taken completely out, and is on my engine stand in my shed. I've decided to build a 355 or 383 for it, so I'm looking for a shortblock. I'd like to sell the GTA or part it out first, so I have some $ to put into the 91. After it gets a shortblock, I have a complete aftermarket TPI to throw on it. I'll get a new charcoal grey gta wheel, throw some tires on it, maybe a door handle that works, and she'll be good to cruise with t-tops off!I need to have another g2g down here in the South Bay since the weather is getting nice. Haven't seen a lot of you guys in a while....
