Re: attn: Robby
That's what I thought too, but according to my camaro white book, in 98, Color code 79, Mystic Teal Metallic, 2,353 coupes got the color, and 122 convertables got it as well, for a total of 2,475.
The closest color of 98 Was Bright Purple Metallic with 431 coupes and 50 convertables painted that color for a total of 481.
The Rarest color was Light Pewter metallic with a total of 63. Only 13 convertables got the color.
Anyone want me to look at any thirdgen info? This is a pretty cool book.

Only Camaros?
I wanted to know how many gunmetal metallic GTAs were in '89.
Edit: Found it, Exterior Color, Gunmetal Metallic -- 644
Definitely the rarest color, the reds, black and white were almost triple the amount.

Re: attn: Robby
I got my stats from the GTA Source page.
Did a quick search and found similar results.
http://www.camaroz28.com/articles/98...rs/index.shtml
98 Colors:
#1 81U Red - 10,424 - 21.5%
#2 41U Black - 10,355 - 21.3%
#3 10U White - 7,891 - 16.3%
#4 13U Silver - 6,769 - 14.0%
#5 28U Navy - 5,270 - 10.9%
#6 79U Teal - 2,355 - 4.9%
#7 96U Ceyenne - 1,789 - 3.7%
#8 31U B. Green - 1,747 - 3.6%
#9 63U Gold - 1,399 - 2.9%
#10 88U B. Purple - 433 - 0.9%
#11 11U Pewter - 63 - 0.0% *
Robby is probably narrowing it down to that color AND a Z28.

Re: attn: Robby
ya thanks terrell that's how i got the number i did. I found the info on this site:
http://www.camaroz28.com/articles/98...rs/index.shtml
I just narrowed down to Z28 coupes. I'm sure there's less with hardtop but i don't know that info. I know there are other colors rarer than mine but its still uncommon and i'm proud to say i own a car with less 500 around just like it.

so two unrare things when placed together, make an uncommon package. you cant be serious thinking that is something special.

Being that its my car, sure its something special to me. I didn't say it was something special because its uncommon. I didn't even make this thread to begin with.
