How's your Z06. Have you done any mods to it? Are you going to Vette Magic? Vette Magic is a big event for corvettes. Be prepared to see mostly older folks though. Few more years and I'd fall in the "Old Folks Category" but if I drive my Z28 I feel 15 years younger Let me know if you go to Sac Raceway. I wanna race your Z06 against my old C4.

Re: Calling: KiddVette

Should be a good race. Your Z06 is rated to be quicker in the 1/4. I'd never race one in the track or the freeway. Just would like to see how my ZR1 go against the C5 Z06.

LT5 is one bad *** engine. If GM continued to build that motor, I can't imagine the horsepower level it would be at now. The 96 model that was supposed to come out was already rated at 450HP. A stroked LT5 to 415 will put a good run for the money against the C6 Z06. A guy in Corvette forum has a 427 LT5 and.......well let's just say it's quick. I thought about trading it in for a Viper many times but every time I hear the motor at full song @ 7200rpm it's and orchestra of gearheads . Now to keep it 3rd gen related, I will be tuning the Z28 on june 2 at sac raceway grudge night. I need to remember how to shift my tranny. Shift into 1 then, pull, pull to finish line. I'm so used to pushing the lever.
