so slow!!
Common guys wheres the action today? its monday!
Everyone must be at work
I ran out of things to do today on the iroc and now I sit here board...
In lighter news, I have only one more chemo session left! and after that, one more bone marrow test to double-make-sure the cancer is gone for good. Then I can return to work, I will get a petscan about every six months for the next 5 years to keep checking up on myself.
Should be sweet soon, no more chemo, back to work, iroc is done, save money, and go racing!

This weekend I completely replaced all the wear items and flushed the condenser and evaporator on my ac... New compressor, evaporator, orifice tube and pressure sensors. Pain in the *** to work around but man it is ice cold now.
Also got new rotors for the front and am going to change the pads to ceramic this week, went with carbon metallic about 1000 miles ago, and Hate them.

Re: so slow!!
I finally picked up my new engine this evening after 10 months of middle finger tappping. I sure hope the old turd will get me to the GTG- Now I've got to decide on what colors to paint the block, heads, and intake and how much grinding to do on the new block to smooth it out.....
I still havn't started using my new MOATES tuning system and software, so will just have to box it up and bring it with me. Got my used set of Recaro seat brackets roughed in and hooked up the MSD ignition parts. I now have to pull the aluminum driveshaft out to rebuild and balance as I'm getting a severe Clunking noise shifting into drive or reverse. Either the new tranny or the new rear has extra play and neither shop will admit to it till I can eliminate the driveshaft play.
At least the tyres will chirp shifting into 2nd gear now. Initially I could hardly get the 350 to burn out in gravel...... Nitro- Nicky
Oh, I finally blew my three wins in a row at Infinion by breaking out early last week and only have 5 more NHRA points events to qualify for the track team it the regional November finals in Nevada- I sit at the 21st spot on that list.

Re: so slow!!
The prolem with the carbon metalics is if they are cold the just dont work. I made it a habbit of draging the breaks for the first 200' or so after i pull out of my driveway, to heat them up and the were ok, but get on the freeway and cruse for 20 min or so and slow down on a off ramp and wala no breaks.
Also when they are hot they dont fade, but they are real grabby, Hard to hold the edge of brakeing and lockup. Would rather have a fade then no breaks, you can feel the fade comeing on. And ceramic disapate heat much faster, and have almost the heat rateing of Carbon Metalics., also they are fine cold.
I am keeping the pads, may try them if i decide to autocross, but for anything else not worth it.

Re: so slow!!
I'm debating putting Travis' old K&N back on the TBI and re-installing the valve cover breather. Maybe another 4* of timing too after I remove the block off plate on the power bulge hood.

Re: so slow!!
yes it is thanks for asking.
just a few checkups on my blood count and i should be good to go!
But don't expect me to have a new look on life or anything. Save that for the movies.
Of coarse I respect you thirdgenners much more now
Especially the guys that came to visit me in the hospital!
