New pics of the Formula all clean
After that awesome gtg yesterday and being sad that I couldn't take it, I decided to finish what I needed to do on the car to roll it out of the garage and wash it. It's sitting a little lower now with the Sportlines but since it has no engine/tranny it sits weird. After seeing Joey's in person, I think an Air Ride setup is on the list of things to get done. I have owned the car for a year this month and only drove it for 2 days so I kinda forgot what it's like to drive. I am starting up again soon doing all the things I can before it's time for the engine, like my K member, A arms, trans cross member, and torque arm. The 3.73's are probably going to be the last as I just want this thing driving again. The K member and A arms are next.

Very Clean car. I have always liked it. I do have everything I need to convert mine to a 91 formula, but I think they look horrible in white, So I am going to pass. But as I said before, Beautiful car you have here. Are you still going LS1 or are you going to get a built TPI and finish it quicker?

It's getting a cammed ls1/t56. I had a the forged 355 HSR but decided I wanted something else a little more custom.

It was good to meet you Steve. I can't wait to see the car finished. Maybe our "Spidermen" can meet sometime.

Need an LS1 still? I have a complete one from an '02 minus PCM and wiring harness.

Daniel, that would be great. Hopefully there's another gtg before I move.
Jeremy, I do still need one but don't have the money for it right now. How much anyway?

I'm not sure on price, whatever the going rate is (minus a little bit) I guess. I got it in a trade. Unless I find a car to put it in I'll probably have it for a while...

Looks nice.
Add some decals though....and why is your Y-pipe so low??
Whats the tire size? Hardly any sidewall?...makes it look like its sitting high

Re: New pics of the Formula all clean
It's sitting high because there is no engine/tranny in it and the exhaust is just laying there. I do have to step up the tire size though.

Re: New pics of the Formula all clean
You're telling me, I miss driving this car. I miss the V8 sound and the pull once you hit the gas.
Re: New pics of the Formula all clean
ever since i saw your car in that video the first time you got it, and seeing firehawk videos, ive wanted one.
im trying to get this autotrader.com - 91 firebird and put a TA wing on it and power buldge hood. it would make a good daily driver. i hope i can get it! dont tell anyone about it either, dont want them buying it from under me!

Re: New pics of the Formula all clean
You could probably find an actual 91-92 Formula for $3500 or less.. better than buying that one and then having to put a different hood and wing on it. I bought my 91 for $3500 and its an L98 car and had a T56 swap already in place... and it was 2001 so it wasn't nearly as old. Of course it did have bad paint and fairly high miles..

Re: New pics of the Formula all clean
I only paid $1,000 for mine so I know he deals are ou there. That car is nice and clean but if it were me I would just keep my eye out.
Re: New pics of the Formula all clean
there are no deals like that in this part of the USA. ive been casually looking for about 2 years now. i have no desire for a high milage car with shitty paint
