New Mod!

here is the Mod that i have been waiting to do. Just did it this past weekend right before the Track. Im pretty sure it made a difference just not sure how much. I can feel it pull a little more on the top end. Once Marc gets his dyno put in then i can test it with the STOCK TPI intake and compare with the new setup.

Looks like 12.653 @ 108mph The dyno is at the shop right now. We are taking extensive measurements for the dyno placement. It's not light where we can just roll it around. It took the whole rocklin crew to push the thing around. Should be up and running within 10 days.

Kidd, if you got time and da money, the sky is the limit. The cold air intake was $130.00 i had to make it myself. Still some parts i need to fix. And its not Cali legal! OH WELL!!

Re: New Mod!

Why'd you build it as a hot air intake though?

For just a little more work, you could make it a COLD air intake...

Making this is way better then having the old TPI setup i had going for me. So this is a pretty good improvement. But im going to make a another one just like yours but out of aluminum. You should move your MAF a little closer to the filter. get that out of the way of the heat

Not to brag, but even when you run a 12.4, (like me) its not enough. Enjoy your run. Put some spray on it & you'll be in the low 11's
Dyno close to being done.
