Transmission Shops

Anyone know of a really good trans shop in the Sac. area? I've good a good one here, but the guy is a bit forgetful and tends to place jobs that don't include the entire car on a back burner. I am looking for quality work at an reasonable cost, and I am looking for some mod work in addition to a rebuild. If there is something in the Rocklyn, Roseville, etc. area it would be great, (much easier for me to get to), but I would be open to go into sacramento or further if the shop is good enough.

Oh, and I am also going to need a good machine shop too, got that LT1 to get machined.

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

give mark and bennie a call. Rocklin Automotive good work, and prices seem fair.

Re: Transmission Shops

NorCal transmissions on Juliesse Rd. Forgot the guy's name, but he did my five speed as well as my 700R4. Very reasonable and quite good. He does very little retail, mostly for shops like Aamco, etc. Give him a call to price your project. Tell him he was recommended. If I find his card or go by his shop I will get the information. When I took my 5 speed in, he pulled it apart, stuck it in the washer, showed me what was wrong all in about ten minutes. He put it all back together and then let me decide what I wanted to do. Good luck.

Yeah I use those guys all the time. They're really good, and their prices are competitive too! They also offer free towing w/ repairs & a nationwide warranty too!

Bennie has been working on my cars for as long as I can remember. Not only am I a customer, but I'm the President.

I liked the company so much I bought it!

Come on by & check us out. we rebuild most transmissions on-site, using quality parts & experienced technicians!

Just ask a few ThirdGen members, like Travis, Joey, Eric, Del, Terrell, Ray, They'll all tell ya, (and if they dont it voids their warranty),

We Know our ****! esp ThirdGens!

Good Humor. Sounds good so far, I am down with any buisness that is especially F-body friendly. I will give you a call probably on tuesday. Do you guys have machining equipment on site also?
