Well, my manager decided to be a ***** so I am not going to get Sunday off. I am going to talk to my other manager though. I hate her. She makes the schedule and is a ***** if you want time off, but if your working with her she is all happy...

At least the both of your cars are not stripped down to a rolling chassis (engine and all smog equipment long gone), sanded to primer and bare metal, and covered in an inch of mud, leaves, bugs and other random back yard junk! I've got a month's solid of cleaning work to finish before I really get to sort this car out. Don't get me wrong I love this kind of thing, and the car was free, and the body is solid and straight. I will bring my photo album when I finally make a GTG.

Re: Random
I actually prefer it this way, when the car is done it will be purely me. And I also will know the car inside and out, and I will be sure that things are all done my way. I can't wait to be driving it this summer, it's has been a few years since my last third gen.

i dunno i think it would look nice...but the way he drives it...not sure if he wants to paint it...think he might get a motor situation figured out first.

Every time I take pic's of my car. I leave the driver side out of it. passanger side looks better. You guys will see sunday.
I also have another 88 camaro sitting in so cal that i need to find a place to store.
Enless i can find someone that wants to pay 600 or 700 for. It runs but needs some body work.

Re: Random
It is a huge pain sometimes, but in my opinion it really beats trying to tear into someone else's hackjob to chase ghost problems. I know the motor and trans going into the Z run great, I've been driving on them for almost eight years now. As far as the house goes, you are a far braver man than I. I can make a long forgotten pile of rust into a bad*** ride, but home renovation scares me to death. I got extremely lucky when I went to buy a house and got in on one of those "you help build it in exchange for a down payment" deals. 10 years of working on cars in dirt, gravel, mud, rain and snow, and I finally got a garage. It's been 5 yrs now and I'll never go back, I've been spoiled.

Bro and sis have bad asthma...and meds arent cheap. So id get outta school and my dad would be waiting for me to go work. Wed get home around 12-1am everynight. Lets say my grades were not that good.

Re: Random
eventhough I did ok in school, it is the experiences I gained in real life that I continue to draw from.Drinkmorebeer: I get it now, man these hours mess with my head sometimes. Even still, my previous comment pretty well covers my thought, nothing beats working in your own garage.

Re: Random
lol all good brotha. I used to work nights in labor and delivery back in Florida. 12 hour shifts. you still had to do normal things during the day. So really it was just one continuous day with 3 hrs a sleep. Hopefully you get that day shift soon.

Re: Random
My last job was actually a 12 hr shift 6pm to 6am. It was cool though because we only worked 3 or 4 days a week, and I got so much done every weekend. Plus I could take mini vacations any time I wanted without taking days of with a 4 day weekend every other week. I do miss those hours, but this job pays a lot more it's just the revolving 8hr shifts suck. Oh well, it will settle down after a while.
