The trick to junk yards is you should be showing up so often, you know them and they know you, then your around often enough to see those good deals, and they like repeat customers. [cause there are guys doing just that, stripping the cars before you show.]

Often it best to gather up a pile of stuff over just grabbin one part.
Then ask how much for this pile.

Re: Pick&pull was good to me

Awesome finds!

A couple of things though, the rear hatch cover also needs the rear plastic interior piece to rest on (it is different). Looks like the shallow style and only fits the ones without the hatch pull down.

You might be able to use a rear glove box lock for the cargo hatch, you'll have to verify that though.

Re: Pick&pull was good to me

I'am working on a tight budget on restoring my IROC 88. Anybody suggest a salvage yard near or around Huntsville, AL. There seems to be a shortage of F-Bodies around here (in salvage yards)

Lol I've noticed that. I've been waiting for a 84 thru 90 firebird to fix my headlight actuator. The right one only flips up when I'm going 75 plus.
