Got my compression check finally... Time for a new Engine...

Cylinder 1: 100
Cylinder 3: 75

Ouch. 2500 miles from my car in Biloxi, Ms... then to Wichita Fall, Tx in 2 months...

She's going to be down for some time now. Imma invest in a newish truck, and save my pennies for a while.

but on the bright side, I ran a 13.1 cutting a 1.8 with 2 low compression cylinders...

Haha, maybe she just wants that Ls1 I was talking about, and figured she would kill this one so she can move on to LsX. I have 4 choices... Lsx (which I want), 383 stroker (best build I can easily get being 2500 miles from home, or a simple rebuild and bore (would only need boring, pistons and rings), or park her and move on and get back to her when I get out of the Air Force.

As for the crankcase pressure.. Im going to assume for now I have scratches in the cylinder walls allowing pressure to leak into the crankcase, causing the leaks and too much oil pressure.

Imma go for a practical and reasonable build... and for times??? Reasonable ones.

My father and I have decided on a plan. Should be coming with me to my first duty station. Drive there should be a nice break in period. I'm going to start collecting the parts, and have everything ready, then while on rap, and a bit of leave I am going to do the swap.
