Just wanted to notify everyone. Thier is a swap meet in Sacramento, at Arco Arena. On April 17th. It is a Sunday. I plan on attending. So should you. Just giving everyone the heads up.

Also, thier is a small swap meet at the San Joaquin county fairgrounds on April 10th. It's a few minutes away for me so I will shoot over there and check it out.

I have heard the arco swap is pretty good. Should get even better as word gets out more. The Stockton one is eh. If I didn't live 10 minutes away I wouldn't go to it. See y'all there.

Also a swap meet in Turlock, CA May 1st 2011 usualy about 5-7 dollars for entry, normally a pretty good show. Again as all swap meets are scarce on third gen parts, but every once in awhile. ya never know...

 

Sundays are tough for me.. but will try to make it out.

 

Yeah I know how the Sunday's are for you. I'm sure you won't be missing anything huge! Not many Third Gen parts at Swap's. But I have been seeing more over the past couple years. Just giving everyone the head's up

 

Just got back from Stockton Swap meet. Third gen's not so much. Thier was a convertible 91. Pretty clean. Had 20's IROC on it. Guy was asking 8k for it. It was an RS though so I dont know my history but it probably had a 305 tbi? Only other things I really saw distinctly for third gens was a tpi setup. People always want more for those then what they are really worth..

Next week Sacramento ARCO arena. And on May 1st we have one in Turlock, CA. Not as big as the january one but still a good show..

It is 6 dollars to get it. free parking. and gates open at 6 am.

 

Well just got back home from the swap at arco arena. very good swap. First stand, I scored some valve covers. I wanted black ones of the style, but for 40 dollars I settled on the polished version. Brand new they are 140 dollars, so Im 100 dollars richer. Saw about 8 TPI setups, one was polished/chromed. Saw a pair of zz4 heads brand new guy was asking 500.00 for the pair. I really considered, but thier not really what I want so...But would deffinately help the 305 though. Also saw some ls3 heads brand new in box for 700.00. saw an ls1 with a hole in the piston and a dropped valve, no price on it. but I did not want to be tempted so I did not ask. Deffinately a good swap meet. august 7th is the next one at that location.
