Re: do i need a c.a.r.b stamp

To be smog legal you need the CARB tag on the headers. I believe the ebrocks have a tag welded to the tube.

the edelbrocks have a stamp on the header and when purchased new they come with a sticker for under your hood too. If the smog guy is real picky he'll want a carb # for sure. But I mean if you look at them and they have teh AIR tubes and the place for the stove pipe (tbi's only huh?) really shouldnt be no problem

All you need is a sticker from the header mfr, or the stamp on the header to pass cali smog.

Re: do i need a c.a.r.b stamp

What do the stamps on the header look like? A plate or just numbers stamped in? Anyone got a pic? Not that I'm thinking of faking one or anything.

Re: do i need a c.a.r.b stamp

You can go online to the California Air Resources Board website and print all the documentation for your specific smog legal part. My 2055's didn't even come with a sticker, only an information sheet with the C.A.R.B. # on it. Show them the paperwork, if they're picky, tell them you're gonna go elsewhere, and that'll be the end of their questions.
