Back Floor Body Plug Metal Interior
On the rear of my Camaro, I pulled back the rear carpet and found a little moisture under the carpet and also a little rust. I let the carpet dry and sanded rust away, primed and painted and top it all off I put undercoating. I found it was coming from the metal plug so I cleaned under and sprayed the undercoating to seal the metal plug with the undercoating. Going to check next week to see if there is any difference. Anyway, this is just a heads up. Do not want your third gen rusting away under your eyes. See you all.

You mean in the trunk area? There are also these same plugs in each cavity well where the spare tire resides. Also the opposite side where our little keyed security compartment is. Check those as well.
