PMI

Ran down to PMI for a couple hours on Sunday morning. Kind of windy, so after an hour of my being there they changed it to an 1/8th mile. There were a couple of third gens there. Both were camaros, one was an 84(?) Z28, and the other was a later model camaro (think it was a Z28, but it coulda been an IROC). Anyway, I was pretty impressed, both were running in the mid 12's. Either of them belong to anybody on here? Was anybody else down there on Sunday?

How did you like the track prep? I hear a lot of people complaining about it all the time. One guy from the GTO group I am a part of actually crashed into the wall a few weeks ago down there. Luckily it was just rear quarter panel on the driver's side, some suspension stuff and the wheel. I just hear horror stories about their track all the time. They are supposed to have a good road course, but the strip sucks.

I wasn't running, just watching, so I'm not really sure. The guys I went down there with had a buddy that was running, and he didn't say anything about it.
