Re: Colorado Roll Call.

I never had the chance to drive my Camaro in the snow. But maby in the future, I may be able to. I think I'm gonna move from my home town in So Cali to Greeley and open up a computer repair shop. That's a dream of mine, to move back to CO. I hope if I go back, I'm welcomed with open arms.

I'm just a couple miles away in Windsor! Come on back man! West Greeley is fairly nice, and the houses are still cheap there! DO EEEETTTTT!!!

Lol. I don't have a drift brake. But I do drift when floor it around a turn. Lol. Perhaps the member meant holding his brake pedal while flooring it to drift sideways around a turn. That I do too.

Baja,

Got mine redone this summer from Safelite Autglass. They come to you. The tech was quick and professional. I think I was out the door for $190 on the windshield.

Glass Doctor does all my work here in FOCO 970 223-9963. They have an awesome installer here that is such a perfectionist. Usually they have beaten anyone elses prices quoted. Might be worth a call. Mention Brandon from Gilsdorf... might get you a better deal?

Still not up... Not sure what is gonna happen with the site. One a couple members even have the ability to create/maintain the website... those are also the ones that do not have any extra time to do so.

Most of us MHTG guys are still telling stories on the FaceBook group site for MHTG.

agreed on the throttle lol. I've driven my bird in the snow, and believe me, I'm glad it was a mild winter this year. It's fun and everything, until you have to stop at a light facing up a hill. hope you don't have anywhere you need to be, cuz your gonna be spinning for awhile haha.

I'm still waiting for a third gen meeting! Any thoughts guys?

Re: Colorado Roll Call.

Can anybody recommend body, exhaust, and tranny shops in the Aurora/Denver area? Or heck even on the other side of town if they're pretty good. I'm back in town and have a list of things that need to be fixed or upgraded on my 'bird, but want to go to places that have experience with old domestics like ours.

Not sure if it would be worth the drive to you, but I know that Muffler Masters in Colorado Springs do excellent work, at least as far as the exhaust goes. I paid 640 including tax for a full custom exhaust. I'm talking everything from the headers back. new cat, new muffler, and all custom exhaust with chrome tips on the end. Midas quoted me around 900 for the same work, and I don't think they were giving me the chrome tips in their quote. Cant recommend Doug and his team enough.

Also, I know it's short notice, but I would love to meet up with anyone in the springs area this weekend who wants to get together and chat about their third gens. Plus I just wanna show off my car with the new exhaust LOL. And if not this weekend we def need to get everyone in the area together sometime soon.

Re: Colorado Roll Call.

We are planning a CO (MHTG) get together on Sunday April 29th in FOCO...

Not sure if you don't have FB how much of this link even is worth looking at, but would love to have more people show up, and show off, and take a cruise.

I'll be there if I can. I'd love to try and make it. Just not sure my car would get all the way there. If I get her running right I'll be there!

Even if you rode shot gun or something it would be cool! Do what you can. I plan on posting pics here.

Re: Colorado Roll Call.

Well, good and bad news for me. bad news is my engine is toast. got it checked out at a shop and my number 5 piston is shot, and most likely so is the cylinder. Good news is, I'm getting a jasper crate engine in, and I should be good and ready for a drive up to FOCO on the 29th! so I'll plan on seeing everyone there!

Well DAMN!!! That sucks about the motor, but a Jasper engine is a great choice for replacement. Glad you will be able to make it up!

Hit me up if you need too! See ya on the 29th!
