Re: Colorado Roll Call.
lets see - in the past 3 years or so (my memory don't go back farther than that!) i've seen 2 blue ones, 3 reds, 2 blacks and a white one. I've seen one of the black ones several times so he must be up this way. I'd love to have a local meet, just kinda a meet and greet and admire kinda deal! This post is so long though, we should probably start a new post to get people's attention!

Re: Colorado Roll Call.
Sorry for the late response guys!! The one time I don't check my email for a few days Well I am flexible for weekend meet, greet and cruise as long as it ends before 9:30pm. I'll stay vigilant about checking this page for when you guys can do it.
Good luck with the Formula! Sorry to hear it gave up, If you do that T-56 swap I will be pestering you for info on in haha, that's on the list of things to do. BTW I still have a guy that can rebuild that 700 to like new for $500 if that's still an option, not bad compared to a T-56 with parts and install.

Dabesiv, the only reason I'm not sure if I wanna rebuild the 700 is because I swapped it out last year for an '86 and I've been hearing they are weaker then an '87- up. If I can find a newer model one I may just have that rebuilt instead, but as of now it's looking like there's a t5 is in my future.

Re: Colorado Roll Call.
you could always try to have it rebuilt with '87 parts, but like we were talking about on the FB page, the T5 will still need some beefing up as it was really for the six bangers.
cujjer, I'm not super mechanically inclined on these things yet, but I am more than happy to help with what I can.

Hmmm I didn't think about that, I wonder how tough that would be to find someone who would build it with '87 parts. Yea I know I would need to beef the t5 up a bit, and even then it would probably not last as long as I'd like. Maybe I should fix the auto and just be done with it lol. Cuz a t56 is just out of the question with the money I'm working with right now.

I'm in Windsor and work in FOCO, and we have friends in area. So you should be in good hands.
You might check out out FB page and join the group. Usually little more action around there than this page.

Well, mine is nothing to look at, just an old runned down bird..But running known the less.
I've seen better looking cars at upap than what I drive.
Of course, wally mart doesn't exactely pay enough to fix 'er up right.
