camaro timing in colorado
So I just had a quick question to see what you guys say. I have a 1991 RS with the 305 tbi and fairly stock, what should I set the timing too? I just got a new distributor put in and the shop set it to 10 degrees saying "that is what you should set the timing to in colorado" it idled weird until warm but then I would push the gas and it kept trying to die out and wouldnt accelerate. I set it back to 0 degrees and it back fired out of the throttle body and kept dieing. what do you guys have your timing at and is what he said nonsense?

Re: camaro timing in colorado
I had my tbi set at 0° when I had it... ran fine for me. Timing can be adjusted a bit for better performance at high altitude, but 10° on a tbi is extreme. Im in Colorado springs by the way, where in colorado are you?
