Engine (speed) shops in NW Indiana

Hey I've got a motor that could probably use rebuilding but I don't have the time to do it myself on my work schedule.. I'm wanting to know if anyone knows of a reputable shop around NW Indiana, not really lookin for anything in Illinois cuz I don't feel like driving that far.. I'm thinking the general area of Valparaiso, Merrillville, and Michigan City. Like I said it has to be a reputable shop, I want work done that meets my standards, which are HIGH! If someone could even post a phone # I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Try Van Senus in Hammond, ask to talk to TOM , he is a machinist there and also does jobs at home and takes them to work for machining...He did the engine in my Formula so i have some faith in him

Yep, Van Senus does good work. There's also a place called Pro Auto that did some machine work to a big block I built years ago. They used to build some bad a$$ race cars. It'd be worth a call to see if they still do that stuff.

I've heard a lot of people around here talk about Van Senus.. I'll have to give them a call sometime. Do they build custom motors too? Oh and anyone got their phone #? My phone book doesn't cover Hammond
