I need to install floor boards and strengthen my frame. Who do you know that can do this? This is one of my winter projects and I want to have my welder in place. Chicagoland/Indiana area if possible. thanks

when did you get a 350 engine? how is that working out for you?

Also, you need floor boards welded in and subframes are you asking about? any performance shop can point you in the right direction....i know you're a big fan of white's pit stop....they could recommend some good welders in the area for you to use. Other than that.....how is your car doing? mine is turning into a much larger project than i anticipated, but it involved 1/2" fuel line....to say the least.

 

Actually my car is running the best it ever has. Now I am doing a lot of under the car stuff. Floor boards, springs, shocks, cutting away rust, replacing rear quarters this winter. My car will never see winter snow again so I am removing all signs that it ever was in a winter. I plan on doing some car shows next year if I get my winter projects going and I have the funding. So far so good. When is that car of yours hitting the streets? Will it be you or Denny first? Still looking for that welder. I will check at White's.

when is that car of mine hitting the streets? i don't know....as for denny and me in a race....i guess it'll be a slow race lol. The car will see the pavement sooner or later, just seems that i am modifying everything front to back and i have the inability to leave things alone and not screw with them. It seems that if i replace one part then there's four or five more that can be improved upon as well.


It'll be out hopefully within a month, but i've been saying that for a year now.
