Looks like we got some interesting cars coming out that ACTUALLY have a chance for production.

i'm sorry to say but i don't even like that new pontiac concept they're displaying..
it's not even close to what it resembles to a pontiac other then that fake looking "universal" end ....
i really do hate what the new GTO looks like, even though it has nice styling cues interior wise..and a nice LS1 to makes 350 hp now.

even though Bob "clutz" is exposing a familiar name..
they're design team is going backwards...and i'm sorry to say but i hope it doesn't float...
look what happen to the new thunderbird...with it's 35,000 price tag..
they said it was gonna be a big seller, well only a few years went buy and then
it stopped production and then now you hear them say "it was made only for the purpose of a limited production figure"....you know that's b.s.
they just couldn't sell them...period..
the new vehicles i work on a days just totally disgusts me..and i thank *** every day that i have something that's old and worth keeping...something that is valuable and was built pretty well..
therefore i voweled to myself never to buy a new vehicle.
i doubt they're ever will be another era of what it really mean to be a "Muscle Car"....you had to earn it...futuristic looks and styles will only get em so far...
and the costs of buying one will not help em either...
that's my story and i'm sticking to it

I have to agree with RC on this one. I hate the new GTO with a passion.

Looks like every other piece of crap on the road today.

none of the new cars stand out anymore. they all conform to all the other cars on the road. Geez i remember years ago in sport truck magazine they were talking about this concept the "SSR"....it was supposed to be this awesome handling, braking, sporttruck, with an LS1 inside. It's got the motor, but it looks like a damn matchbox car....thing is too bubbly, i don't like it at all. And the fact they're trying to do a retro kind of styling...but never get that even close to looking right either pisses me off.

off my soapbox.

I was mostly refering to the Chrysler ME Four-Twelve prototype. Chrysler says it will probably be produced, they said that about the viper too.

Its in image car. 850hp Quad Turbo 6.0L v12. Mid engined 2800lb supercar. Supposed to compete with the McLarent F1, thats a tall order and I hope they can pull it off. Granted, almost no one will be able to afford it, but still if it drives the need for less expensive muscle cars then I'm all for it.

lets face it, chevy went from "pontiac and gmc" to "saturn and gmc".....i think you all know what i mean, cadillac and pontiac are all we got left for rwd performance (face it, vettes are for 60 year old bald white guys that have their mid life crisis well underway). The only prayer we can pray is that holden comes to the USA (yea, it rhymes, you like that, eh? [again, i rhyme]).
