thinking of having a small gathering this weekend
heya all,
i was thinking of those who don't have much to do this weekend,
and since it's my bday weekend..
i was thinking of having a small gathering,
and for a few months now i was debating on a couple of places to go..
i've been really itching to go to this new indoor go kart place that's up in Bufflo Grove...which these go-karts are like professional style type..that go 30 to 35 mphs, they provide you with a helmet and uniform!...and from what the website shows they're 2 different race courses...looks really cool.
Unfortunatly you have to be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's licence to race. (sorry Andrew)....
Then here's another place to go to:
The Nascar Silicon Motor Speedway which is in the Woodfield mall,
i haven't been there for almost a year now...and if you didn't know what it's about, it's about 1/2 simulators stock cars that move in place but your racing in a 3-d enviroment..tracks you can race on is Richmond, Bristol, Daytona, Daytona Extreme (220mphs+), Atlanta, and Charlotte.
at least this is open to all ages..and up to 12 people can race simutaniously...you have the option of driving in 4 speed manual or automatic....
those who are interested please post here..
by the way here are the websites to Chicago Indoor Karting and
the Nascar Silicon Motor Speedway.

Hey Raul, I'm game for either. Course, don't know if they'll let me race the karts because my liscense was taken as bond when I was in the accident a few weeks ago. Maybe they'll take some other form of ID in place of the DL.
As for Nascar, I'm up for that too if karting doesn't work out.
BTW, parts are almost ready to be ordered for my transmission. Hopefully within the next two months I'll be ready to put it in. I also got a line on some porting for a small deal. Basic pocket porting I'm told. I assume that port matching is part of the process.

I might be up for something RC, maybe we could finish our deal this weekend also.
How old will you be this weekend?
I know i was supposed to call you back on sunday, but as usual, my cell phone wont keep any kind of memory, so no matter what i lose all the numbers that i have.
So call me tonight if you can. We will talk more then.
