damn Random Tech.!!
i finally got my
exhaust system from Thunder Racing..
and i bought the 3" dual exits for the dual cat. converter system..
unfortunatly after taking apart my exhaust and matching part for part i realized that the extension pipe is longer then it's suppose to, not only that, but it also bends...more "forwardly" and it looks like this set up is made for a car with a single cat system!...
however comparing to the part number on the box and to the site
it is the right part!?
i'm gonna call thunder racing tommarow, but that wouldn't help much now since the show is only a day away and my ride would have to be sidelined for another week!..forget that!...
so i guess cutting and welding is in order....but damn it...wish someone told me that sooner!....now i gotta try to fix this up before the show!...errr! frustrations only leads to more frustrations...and i still need to put the interior back together..oh well i guess i won't be able to finish my illustration on time..

Just JB weld your pin-hole leak for now Raul. Do it right, you'll regret it later if you don't.
Maybe they sent you the wrong system, perhaps one for single cats. If you mess with the exhaust then you can't return it for the proper setup. JB weld it for now, call thunder racing, and sort it out before going through drastic measures.
I personally can't wait for my headers to get here. Ceramic coated Hooker 2055's and Y-pipe goodness. Oh yessssss! Perfect to go with the heads/cam I got. And I'm really starting to research the LT1 intake conversion costs. I won't put it on my car till I'm ready to do it right with all the parts.
