Urgent Help Needed
First of all i know this is in no way thirdgen related but i have a problem... I just crashed my moms 99 tahoe into a curb and a thin metal pole. It totally destroyed the rim, even though it is still holding air, how i have no clue. I was going on an on ramp and the ABS kicked in and i just slid right into it. Ive been trying to tell her to get new tires for a while now. I drove it home which was like a 15 mile drive. The truck has no body damage so im guessing the pole thing hit the tire and rim. It makes a clunking noise which i think is the rim. Anyone think that i hurt the suspension... BTW i was going 35 MPH ... shouldnt of been in a hury

hahaha owned on the on ramp, my old 81 malibu I was am idiot and let my buddy drive, well he hit a curb about 35 bent the steal wheel blew out the tire I took it to my autoservice class during high school and the tie rod was bent, not bad.
I just took my 95 pathfinder in on tuesday at the Just tires at the fox valley mall location (by the foundry) for a alignment and it cost 70 bucks, they give you a spec sheet of how off it was and how it is after the fix.

The rims are a set of chrome Epic Marquis and I have to order one today....around $230 per wheel.... There goes part of the money for having my hood painted

Probably didn't hurt much. I would crawl under there and look at your tie-rods. And def. get it aligned after you get the new tire/wheel on there.
I bent the tie-rod on my Cherokee getting pulled out of a mud-hole. Drove ok, just pulled to one side. After getting home (50 miles) one tire was worn real bad on one side.
