Sounds like a good price on a nice setup for someone looking for a 305. Like you said, if anyone has to start from scratch, they're going to spend more in machinework than you're asking for your motor and yours is completely done and ready to go. If Andrew had more money, we would've been all over it.

 

anyone else looking for something all done already? need to sell to finance new motor.

Steve: Roller cam? Which heads? Is it assembled?

Possibly interested, but it'd be a while. I'll eventually need a 305 but I can run the 350 this year until I get my comp. license.

 

interested as well and agree what kind of heads are on it?

 

TJ: non-roller motor. block is an 85 I believe so it's just the comp cam in there. has the 416 heads which are the best 305 heads you could use that are factory. it's still in the car presently until someone comes up with a deposit then i'll pull it out and send out my new motor finally...whew.

gonna have to pass on this one, I need to pay some bills off. . . . looks like the 3rd gen will be Stock at least one more summer

 

i will give yout $50 for it so i can drop it into an S-10 :-D

 

lol gonna have to do a little better than that. $50 won't even cover the gasket kit to redo the gaskets. $50 would get you an oil pump and pickup though.

 

Probably not interested in a non-roller block unless I happen to lunch my L98 in April. Thanks though.

 

ok.....also selling the carb off it as well now. need to fund the new motor project.

 

motor is getting pulled regardless next week to put in my next engine into the car. so it'll be on an engine stand wrapped in plastic until someone is interested.
