Hey all,

Does anyone happen to have a stock integrated coil distributer they'd be willing to part with? I'd like to stay local (near western subs) and not have to deal with any shipping mess.

Yeah, saw your thread Jer. A little too rich for my budget at the moment.

I just need a stocker as mine has a bum shaft bushing that causes the rotor to hit the carbon tabs on the cap and ground out, frying the coil.

Ponykiller87: Is yours a stock electric adv for TPI? As far as price, I've been perusing the parts 4 sale forum and rebuilt ones are going around $50? (still a bit for a car I dont' know when or if I'll ever drive again )

It came with a bunch of other parts I bought, and I was told that it was all from an 86 corvette (I needed some of the TPI stuff and brakets) I have a unit just like Jeremy is selling in my car already so I dont need the stocker. How big of a hurry are you in? Like I said I will be down in IL probably the 18th or 25th of march so you could probably just meet up with me and pick it up or something.

How bout $25 ?

Also if your looking for any other TPI stuff I have some misc stuff, Stock 87 L98 cam, A/C compressor from the 86 vette, air pump.... all kinds of random TPI parts.

Works for me, and no hurry, I figured I was going to to bag one again at the Indy swap meet on the 26th anyway, but wasn't sure if I'm going or not yet.

Thanks and let me know when.

Well I have enough parts to build about 2 complete TPI setups and still have some spare parts. When I get some time this summer I will be porting and polishing them, and then selling them as complete units. If you search my name you will find some pics of my engine, that was my first attempt at polishing a TPI about 3 years ago, now I have it down to where I can polish the entire unit and its shinier than any part of what the ones in the pictures are.

I think I still have some underhood stuff to that I took out, washer / coolant tanks, .... I would really have to look to tell you more. In a month or so I plan to clean the garage and sell/get rid of alot of the stuff I dont need.

Nothing wrong with having some spare parts lying around. Saved my butt quite a few times with spares.

And, whan I rebuilt my daily driver 7 years ago I kept the cylinder head that was warped beyond decking for some reason. So that my P&P learning experieince. It a 3.8 so the over all dimension are close to a 305/350 head.

I could use a washer tank too, but it's kind of pointless when there's nothing to mount it too. That's the reason why I'm not looking for anything extravagent at the moment. I have to save the body a.s.a.p. otherwise I'll be having yet another engine and driveline waiting for a project.
