Ok, this isnt really third gen related, but it may save a few people some money. there is a new unmarked cop car cruising the valpo-merriville-sherriville section of US 30. Its a 06 black GT mustang. this thing is almost undetectable unless you know about it already. its black with very dark window tint, gt bages i think, and stock wheels. no lights or antenna are visible. its harder to spot than the moroon camaro that cruises the same strech. I have seen this guy pull over three people already, and i saw it last week on the way to work. If you cruise this section of 30, watch for it.

yeah the illinois state police just got some marked and unmarked Dodge Chargers....very mean looking tho

 

ya, indiana to. saw on on display at the fair. does Ill. have unmarked chargers or marked?

 

i have only seen marked, but a few chicago cops I know said the state have unmarked too

 

St. John has a few chargers and one or two unmarked blackones with very dark tints.... I think they are the V6 version, so have at it

 

Here in Illi I've also seen some older (mid-90's I'd say) Monte Carlo's and even ... Lumina's Quite a few odd-ball cars that I would never expect. Oh yea, the best yet - maroon Nissan 300ZX, saw it sitting just past a bridge on I90 about 2-3 miles south of Genoa Rd. That was about three weeks ago BTW.

 

Most of the oddball cruisers are usually seizure cars from the town or county they came from.

Here and there they get donated, but usually impound fodder.

IN State still has multiple B4C Camaros. They tend to stay on the toll roads and 30 past Valpo.
