New Dash Setup
So i finally got around to making a new dash setup for the gauges.
They should be completely installed and wired this week.
They are Ultra-Lite II, pricey but i like the way they are backlit instead of around the dial.
I also finally put in a Hurst Billet T56 Shifter and a WS6 store short throw stick, and i topped it off with a classic white Hurst Shifter Ball.

Re: New Dash Setup
looks good, I got 5 or 6 autometer guages in my dash, along with one under the cowl and the tach under the heater vents...the phantom series.
T56 huh? that's a sweet swap as well. Sometimes I miss my T-5 instead of this built TH350, well until I launch the car consistently the same time at the track over and over.

Re: New Dash Setup
looking good i actually just picked up some guages that i am going to do in mine. I am running the autometer phantom's as well steve. I an going with 5" tach and speedo, 2 5/8 electic fuel pressure, fuel level, volts, oil pressure. Those will all be in the dash, then i will have 2 1/16 trans temp, water temp, and oil temp in the pillar.

Re: New Dash Setup
Thanks for the comments, i cant wait to finish wirng them up and see how they look lit up and working.
The switch to the right of the console gauge is for the reverse lockout.
The gauges are 3 3/8" and 2 1/16" The gauges looked bigger by themselves but once they were in place they look kinda small. I thought about putting the extra's in the pillar as well but i didnt like having them in view of someone on the street. So i put them where the radio was since im not going to put one in.
And steve...consistently launching over and over at the track...sounds like a great setup for a SHOW car to me

Re: New Dash Setup
I'm just saying, I have no skills at all when it comes to racing a stick shift consistently, so having an auto takes out the "driver mod" that I have a problem with that you can't pick up aftermarket out of a catalog.
