Let me get this straight, simply becasue i dont want to be telling everyone one thing and then have it turn out to be another....

5pm to 10pm, 20 bucks as many runs as you can take, is this put on by a club or anything?

I will proabably come is this is the case, i'll be in a red obviously 86 trans am.

No. I take it you've never been to the dragstrip before. It isn't put on by a club. Unless you can all fellow drag racers a club, which they pretty much are. They are the NICEST people. Not at all judgemental, helpful, polite, funny, and they don't knock anyone down. Even if you run a Cavalier. My buddy and I went and he brought his Cav. He was a virgin racer and I kept telling him to run it. He was "scared", and didn't want anyone to laugh at him. So we walked over to a group of guys I new and they said "Run that son of a b-tch!!" These guys were tuning a 89 Vette that has two NOS bottles on a TPI 350. Worm was running 11.15-11.2 et's.

Test and Tune is the night everyone tries to see how they can get that extra little .1 or.01 out of their car. It's the main reason everyone goes. That and what they call "grudge match". That way you can settle a "my car is faster" argument without getting a ticket or being arrested. It's a lot cheaper than getting a ticket, and yes no limit of runs. If your car will hold up, then they will hold up the green light for ya.

By a club i mean like thirdgen.org, like the gatherings we have had in the past, i know our local hot rod club rents it out once in awhile, but yea, i've been to the track many a times, and i'm planning on coming tomorrow.

hope to see you all there
