My Iroc is pretty sun-baked from being in the South (TX and FL) all its life. The wheels weren't curbed but they looked terrible because the clearcoat was completely baked and they had a yellow haze to them. I was originally going to have them polished, but ended up having them restored to stock by Accurate Alloy Wheel Repair in Naperville. I highly recommend them as the wheels look brand new now.
I actually had Discount Tire remove the tires because the polisher I had lined up needed them removed. When he bailed on me, I found out that AAWR didn't require me to do that. They have all their own equipment so you give them the wheels/tires-- they dismount the tires, bead blast the wheels, powdercoat the entire wheel in the gray color (of the windows in the wheel)-- then CNC machine the wheel faces to remove the powdercoat and give that fresh machined finish. Once that's done, they clear powdercoat the entire wheel. Then remount and balance the tires (all stick-on weights on the back side- no "pound on" weights on the lip). Because I'm local, John actually picked up the wheels/tires and redelivered them to my house when done. Lead time was only a week start to finish.
Accurate also does polishing and repairs curb rash and bent wheels. Contact info:

Freshly removed and riding around in my truck for a week when my original guy was jacking me around.
After AWS blasted them and powdercoated the entire wheel (before machining).
This is what they looked like fresh out of the CNC machine (before clearcoating)
It was $595.00 for the set. I realize that’s not cheap but look at what’s involved in redoing them. They should look like new for years now that the car isn’t anyone’s daily.
Do you know if they'll do the body color matching paint from some years. The clear on my 91 z28 wheels is cracking and the red portion is now basically faded to pink... I've been thinking about having them redone for years!

Theyll powdercoat them any color you choose. You’d just need to pick the correct color.
