The BIG day is.......
MAY 25TH!!!!!!! I figure that weekend would work out good because its Memorial Day weekend. Rt. 41 is also having their Street Car Chaos event the night before. I'll have more details later. I've already picked up a few cars this spring for parts and am hoping to get quite a few more. If there's any parts you want to pick up that day let me know and I'll do my best to have it waiting for you.

Since Ive last checked on this I have gotten a new car. Anyone looking to try their hand at a LS1 is more than welcome to try. It'll be good to meet up with everyone.

I'll be bringing a caravan with me. me and ssnow2020 are like 5 blocks away, and a couple friends of mine wanna go too (a black 83 Z28, a black 88 IROC, maybe a blue 89 RS, and maybe a red 89 Formula). Also, a couple guys wanted to meet up sometime from a couple towns over, so that'll be 2 more. That would be cool to see an 8-car caravan
EDIT: A couple people comin from Aurora.. hmm.. I dunno if its on the way, but I know you're coming from the north so maybe our two caravans can meet up around the mall by me (95th and Ridgeland, just a little bit east off of 294.

What is the start time Denny? When will most people be showing up? Also can we do a Friday nite showup at Blue Top. You know with all those Mustangs some of close to Blue top could come to put them in their place before the big show on Sat.

Yeah I live in Oak Lawn, and the mall would be a good place to meet up. There is an oasis a few miles north on 294 from 95th, but I'm not too sure what its called. Some of us could meet at the mall, and then cruise up 294 to meet up with the rest.

What's up everybody??? It seems this thing is really picking up so I figured I'd let everybody know the latest info. The party is set for Saturday, May 25th. I'm thinking it's going to start around 1:00 or 2:00. I'll have food, pop, and beer along with a bonfire. At the end of the month I'll start a post so people can RSVP. That way I know how many people to expect. I'll also start a post so people can give me their parts requests. I've picked up quite a few cars already this spring and hope to pick up at least four or five more before the meeting.

BTW, the oasis you guys are talking about is the Hinsdale Oasis. It's just north of Ogden Ave (Rt. 34). It's pretty good size so should be a good spot for you all to meet up.
Pretty bad a southern boy like me knows what it's called and ya'll don't. LOL!!!

Just to let you guys know that at the Street Car Chaos, we dont really appreciate all the people that show up there just to make runs and not actually have races setup. I please ask you if you were planing on going that friday to hold off and keep it to the Sat n Sun. Thanks!!
