Well, this IL weather really isn't helping with my schedule to allow me to work on this car more but thought i'd post up seeing how many more people are still working on their rides and don't have them running yet for the fest.

Mines up and running, but hasn't passed emissions yet. Though I think I found the major obstacle to that.

I hope to pass emissions within the next week.

 

Well, I'm hoping to have the '84 Trans Am finished for the party and get a few more things done to the white car too. However, I've still got to finish the B4C before then. I've cut down another big section in the back yard for more cars but I've still got plenty more to do. I'm hoping to have the website up and running sometime this weekend. Next week will be my last eBay week until the after the party so that will give me some more time to get things done. I've also picked up a lot of thirdgen non-parts type stuff to sell. I've got some really cool stuff that I'm sure will interest people.

Hey Steve, I've also got a huge supply of '84 Z28 billboards coming in. You'll have to get one!!! They are the actual billboards used along side roads in '84. The '84 Z28 billboards are 8'x14' and go up like wallpaper. I've also got some '84 Trans Am billboards coming as well. These are the last remaining billboards in existence so when they're gone, they're gone.

Mines been running 1 week today. Been shakin out bugs for the last 3 days. Bout to drive me nuts, better now than then. Oil sending unit has come loose, sensor has come loose to leak anitfreeze all over, torque converter bolts came loose... We won't even go into the fuel pressure... She'll be ready when it's time to go though.

 

haha.....i can't wait to work out my gremlins....


did i mention mine's taking the trailer route i think, not enough time to dyno tune this bad boy yet, so i don't want the A/F ratios screwy on this carb. BUT it will be there for sure.

 

well, my car will be out by then, but unfortunately i wont be able to attend. its the same day as my high school graduation, which i suppose i should go to, but i would rather hang out with a bunch of third gen owners

 

Well, since it is your graduation, we will let it slide this time.

Some people will slam me for this. But I never attended my graduation ceremonies. Didn't give a rats *** about the school, or anyone in it at that point. I just asked for my diploma and walked away. I said my own goodbyes to the teachers I cared to, and walked away from the rest.

And I still don't regret my decision.

 

i probably would do that, but i dont think my parents would agree to it. theres a few people ill probably never see a again, but i could just as easily say bye to them on the last day of school. i havent and dont care for the way things are done at my school, and now that the referendam (sp?) we had up didnt pass, its just going to get worse

on a lighter note, hopefully i will be able to attend a gathering in the summer, but if not, im moving to glendale heights in late august. does denny do anything in the fall?

my car is ready, but have to order a few more parts to my car...rear suspension upgrades are in the works as of now..and i have order a new exhaust....that small pin hole leak is annoying the hell out of me!
